Hotel Career Days
Xenia exhibition hosted the Workathlon Hotel Career Days in the 2022 event, on 27 and 28 November at C1 Conference Hall.
Hundreds of hospitality professionals had the opportunity to get in touch with top industry businesses through 10-minute interviews and discuss perspectives about their career development. In a season when staffing is predicted to be more difficult than ever, employers met talent they wouldn’t meet anywhere else, conducted mass interviews and network with other representatives of major hotel groups, as well as showcased their business in a unique way to target audience in tourism and hospitality.
On the other hand, candidates were able to bypass the difficult and time-consuming part of the job application and got straight to the interview! They also met industry professionals and attended talks on the hot issues of the industry, staying up-to-date on today’s market demands and discussing the latest news in hospitality.

At the conference hall C2 on Monday, November 28, specialized executives of the tourism market presented the hospitality trends and analyzed the latest issues of the sector both for hoteliers and hotel employees.
In particular, the trends in hospitality as well as the preferences and habits of tourists and how all these factors affect the issue of recruitment, were analyzed. Also, the topic of customer experience vs candidate experience and the strategic importance of the integration process of new employees in the hotel were thoroughly discussed. The attendees had, among other things, the opportunity to gain a complete picture of the proper operation of a reservations department, of the importance of the proper organization of the Housekeeping department and the significant role that a targeted digital marketing strategy through the hotel’s Social media, is playing.
