The Forum was organized by the <strong>Hellenic Chamber of Hotels<\/strong> during the very first day of the Xenia trade show. Forum SA, Xenia\u2019s organizing company, was a Gold Sponsor for the event.<\/p>\n<p>In the packed C1 conference hall, George Tsakiris, Chairman of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels talked during his opening address about \u201cthe invasion of the sharing <strong>economy model in hospitality<\/strong>\u201d. In this context, he noted that the prerequisite for the sector to win the toss is to educate and get familiar with the new requirements in tourism. \u201cAssimilation, integration and better exploitation of the new technologies, a better approach, and management of our clients&#8217; demands, better marketing strategies, as well as the <strong>formation of hospitality<\/strong> syndication schemes are some of the areas where we need to mobilize in order to succeed,\u201d stated Mr Tsakiris.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.xenia.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/XEE_FOTOGALLERY.jpg<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. \u00a0<\/strong>Ms E. Tsakiris, Chairman of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels <strong>3.\u00a0<\/strong>Agni Christidou, Director of Hellenic Chamber of Hotels<\/p>\n<p><strong>The minister welcomed the Forum<\/strong><br \/>\nMs Elena Kountoura, Minister of Tourism, also addressed the convention by noting that \u201cthe 1st International Hospitality Forum is an excellent initiative since it gives everyone the opportunity to set the right priorities before making the next steps in the international tourism environment.\u201d The minister also mentioned that Tourism is one of the world\u2019s fastest growing industries, and wished the 1st International Hospitality Forum the best of luck.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Innovation in hospitality<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Forum hosted four extremely interesting panels, with the participation of Greek and internationally acclaimed speakers from the tourism industry, the academic community as well as consulting companies.
